Jennifer Lebron: Aceable Agent of the Week

Jennifer Lebron | Keller Williams Heritage

How long have you been in the industry and how did you first get started in real estate?

I have been an Realtor for six months. I decided to jump into real estate after being in the medical field for nine years! It was an opportunity to have a brand new start in a new field with the same goal in mind: helping people achieve their goals.

What's the most interesting or most important thing you've learned in a real estate continuing education course?

In BOLD they teach you to fail forward and fail fast! Real estate is a hands-on industry. Be comfortable being uncomfortable and be willing to do what you don't want to do - when you don't want to do it - at the highest level.

What is the trait you most admire in other real estate agents or brokers?

Everyone is super helpful and they want to see you succeed! Being new in the business, I definitely appreciate that. Having a mentor, coach, and an awesome team has really helped me step out of my comfort zone.

What books, websites or courses do you recommend to those in the real estate industry and why? (Please write at least two sentences.)

The ONE Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results and The Millionaire Real Estate Agent by Gary Keller. The MREA gives you insight on how to turn your real estate career into a business! The book shows you models and systems which is very helpful if you're looking to make real estate your career and not just a job. The ONE Thing delivers great results in every area of your life (work, personal, family, and spiritual).

What advice do you have for new agents who are just starting out in the business?

I would definitely recommended you take it one day at a time, fail forward, learn your scripts, ask questions, follow a top producer, get a coach, and be around positive people! All of that makes a huge difference in becoming a good agent that will last (and not a statistic). Success is simple, not easy!
