Learning Strategies

We use proven learning strategies to ensure you remember and retain the important concepts taught throughout the course:

• Level overviews: Each level starts by explaining the concepts you'll learn and giving you an estimate of how long it takes to complete, so you know what you're getting into.

• Chapter overviews: Each chapter within a level begins by giving you learning objectives and key terms, explaining why what you're learning matters.

• Inline glossary: Hover over a highlighted word and see the word's definition.

• Mastery tracking: Get a personalized report showing where you need to review, based on how many pop-up questions you answer correctly.

• Quizlet: We've created quizlet flash card sets that all AceableAgent students can use for free to review key terms.

• Downloadable study guides: Our course features study guides to help you learn key terms, math formulas, and important concepts you’ll want to know, not just for the course and state exams, but in your career.

• Practice test: The course has a practice test that you can take as many times as you wish in order to prepare for the course final and the state exam.

Learning Assessments

You'll be able to measure your progress and understanding of course material through two types of assessments.

1. Level Assessments: These come at the end of every level. They're focused on testing what you learned in that level, and you can't progress until you pass them. Here are some important details:

   1. The minimum score to pass is 70%.

   2. They are not timed.

2. The Final Exam: Our course also has a final exam, required by LARA, that tests your knowledge of the major concepts you learned in that course. You cannot take the state exam until you pass our course final. Here's what you need to know about the final exams:

   1. It’s 40 questions long.

   2. There is a two-hour time limit.

   3. It is a closed-book test.

   4. The minimum score to pass is 70%.

   5. The exam is proctored, per LARA requirements. That means that you take the test while being monitored by an online proctoring service.

   6. You can take the test as many times as needed to get a passing score.

AceableAgent will send your information to the testing provider that administers the state licensing exam. That way, when you sign up for the state exam, they will have proof that you met the education requirement. No paper certificate is necessary!
