4 Real Estate Schools in Arizona

There are many options available when it comes time to choose a real estate school in Arizona. Finding a school is the first step on the path of getting a real estate license in Arizona. Each school has different ways to fill your needs that may make them stand out.

How to Choose a Real Estate School in Arizona

The Arizona Department of Real Estate, or ADRE, has a list of approved schools that you can attend to get your real estate license. They publish a monthly list of the pass/fail rates of these schools to show which ones have proven success. You can use these rates — along with seeing which school has classes that fit your schedule or learning style — to make your pick.

The Best Real Estate Schools in Arizona

The courses are devised by education experts from Harvard and taught by experts. The classes currently do not include the six-hour contract writing class that is required after the exam.

2. Arizona School of Real Estate & Business

The Arizona School of Real Estate & Business (ASREB) offers in-person or virtual classes along with self-paced online classes. All of the classes at ASREB are taught by tenured instructors, most of which still practice real estate. ASREB has branches in Glendale, Scottsdale, Surprise, and Tucson.

If you enroll in classes, you have access to study guides, prep courses and tests, and simulated exams. They offer a premium package that has a CompuCram pass, where if you fail the exam on your first attempt, they refund you $100. In February 2021, 167 students from ASREB took the real estate agent exam, and 68% passed the test.

3. Hogan School of Real Estate

The Hogan School of Real Estate was founded in 1973 in Tucson, Arizona. At the Hogan School, you have the option of attending in-person, livestream classes, or asynchronous online learning. The 90-hour classes take three weeks to complete and run from Monday through Friday. All textbooks and materials are included in the exam packages. The Preferred Package includes the six-hour post-exam contracts writing class.

Hogan School also offers the optional CompuCram exam prep which boasts the pass or don't pay guarantee. Forty-seven Hogan students took the exam for the first time in February 2021 and had a 70% pass rate.

4. American Realty Academy

American Realty Academy is based in Phoenix and provides classes that are all taught by active real estate brokers. They limit class sizes to just 20 students in their in-person classes to make sure every student receives the proper amount of attention. You can take their classes online too if you prefer studying at your own pace. The mandatory six-hour contract writing course is available to all students who have passed their real estate exams.

If you need help with your studies, you can register for an instructor-led three-hour study session that helps prepare you for the exam. The CompuCram money-back guarantee exam prep is available here as well.
