Kaplan Real Estate Education, formerly known as Brightwood Real Estate Education, is one of the the most well-known online real estate school out there. Kaplan is available in all 50 states, and in addition to real estate licensing, they also offer licensure courses in appraisal, home inspection, and contracting.

Kaplan’s courses can vary, depending on your state. According to their website, their On-demand online course is the most popular form and can be taken anytime, with study packages available at an additional charge.

One thing to note about Kaplan is that they do offer live classes and pdf (textbook) courses. If you struggle to pace yourself independently, the live classes can help keep you accountable.
