The Alaska real estate salesperson exam has 120 questions total, divided into two distinct sections. There are 80 general practice questions and 40 Alaska state law questions. Additionally, there can be 5-10 pretest questions in each category that don't count toward your final score, but you won't know which questions these are during the exam.

You'll be answering multiple-choice test questions on the Alaska real estate salesperson exam. The exam is administered on computer at Pearson VUE testing centers.
You'll have a total of 4 hours (240 minutes) to complete the Alaska real estate salesperson exam. The time will start the second you look at the first test question.
To pass the Alaska real estate exam you must get a 75 or higher on the scaled score. Alaska uses a scaled scoring system from 0-100, which means your score doesn't represent the percentage of questions answered correctly, but rather accounts for variations in exam difficulty. You will receive your score immediately after completing your exam. Test takers that pass can proceed with their licensing application, while those who don't pass will receive information on how to retake the exam.
